AirTimer

AirTimer is a research project on exploring alternative approaches for the most common ways of human computer interaction: The device, a clock-like countdown timer, is not operated by any buttons, keyboard or touchscreen, but by in-air gestures only. Its user feedback is not given on a screen or on a LCD, but only by a simple ring of 60 LEDs. For prototyping purposes we used a simulation of the LED ring on a 24″ screen.

The project was part of the course Interaction Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg.

15th European Guide and Scout Conference – Live Streaming and Live Editing

With a team of four scouts and a lot of professional video gear – after some struggle about analogue and digital output signals of the main camera – I was enabling more than 3000 viewers to watch the 15th European Guide and Scout Conference via YouTube Live. A broad set of tasks challenged my skills during 8 days of prep work and Conference, but the feeling to have everything up and running and to live edit from behind the scenes was absolutely awesome.
